  • A group of SCH brewers visited Victory Brewing Company on 6 March and grilled GM Matt Krueger on Victory's process, ingredients, beer, and equipment! Matt's usual 1-hour tour ended up taking over two hours, and he later reported that he had a blast showing us around!

    Plans are being made for our next field trip, sometime this summer.

  • Congratulations to all of the brewers who participated in this year's event, and thank you to all of the judges, stewards, and sponsors who made it possible! 252 entries were judged, and the scores were excellent - competition was intense. Results can be found on the SCH-ABC main page!

What a summer, eh? May the heat not be wrecking your beers - remember, all of those staling processes move a lot faster at higher temps, so keep your beer in a cool place, preferably a fridge!

As we all march towards fall, check out the updated EPHY stats, and start getting ready for the THIRD annual SCH Amateur Brewing Championships! We expect another great year, and we welcome your best beers (or the bad ones you'd like some objective feedback for).

Our monthly meetings are held at the General Lafayette Inn and Brewery, typically on the third Thursday of the month. If you would like to attend a meeting to see what the excitement is all about, please contact the club for more information!
